RESOLUTION INFORMATION

Resolutions are requests for action generally pertaining to the life and ministry of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod. Resolutions must be submitted by Sunday, May 11 (10 p.m.) for consideration by the 2008 Synod Assembly.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION                    

  READY TO GO? Click the "Register Here" button above and follow instructions to register online. A registration confirmation and invoice will be sent to your email address.
  Registration forms may be completed individually, OR one person from each congregation (a congregation secretary, for example) may submit all registrations in one registration session.
  WORKSHEET: Print off this worksheet (pdf file) if desired to gather data that will need to be entered online.
  PAYMENT:  Send payment by check to the synod office. One check may be submitted from each congregation for all lay voting members and rostered leaders. A confirmation will be sent to your email address when payment is received.

CONGREGATION PHOTO PROJECT

A PowerPoint presentation is being developed for Synod Assembly of a mission ministry in each congregation of the synod.
  WHAT TO SEND: ► Up to 4 photos of your congregation's mission ministry; ► photo of your church building; ► photo orfyour worship space; ► description of the mission ministry.
  TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS: ► Photos should be sent in jpg format.
  WHERE TO SEND PHOTO: ► Photos should be emailed to metrodcelca @ email.smugmug.com. The REQUIRED subject line for the email is synodassemblyphotos ; ► identify your congregation by name and location in the body of the email accompanying your photos -- the email should be in plain text format (not html or rich text) in order for this identifying information to be readable.
WHERE TO SEND DESCRIPTION OF A MISSION MINISTRY: A brief summary should be sent to metrodcelca @ metrodcelca.org. Include your congregation's name, address and phone number.
  DEADLINE: Submissions should be received by May 1, 2008.

GOALS OF THE 2008 SYNOD ASSEMBLY

bulletTo gather around Word and Sacrament.
